Treasure Data has updated the Amazon DSP Data Provider Export Integration to comply with the latest Digital Markets Act (DMA) regulations, wherein all EU data will require a user consent check and potential restrictions will be applied if users chose not to opt in. To accomplish this, a new dataSourceCountry field is added to the Data Provider API. This allows you to populate the source country of your audiences, which will prevent DMA from being applied to out-of-scope countries.

The retention period for deleted data is being changed from 30 days to 7 days, effective March 18, 2024. After that any data you delete from our systems will now be retained for a period of 7 days before permanent deletion. If data or tables are accidentally deleted by a user operation, recovery will not be possible after the 7-day window. We also advise customers to review any data deleted from now until March 18, 2024, as this adjustment to the data retention period will also affect deleted data prior to the effective date. This change to the 7-day retention period covers the majority of customer’s recovery requests and this adjustment aligns with industry best practices for data security and privacy.
