Treasure Data offers Instore SDK for iOS and Android, which enables you to track the physical location of retail customers while in your retail stores. This feature combines physical and digital data of customers to create a more accurate profile of consumers.
As a critical piece of your retail strategy, TD Instore SDK allows you to gather data, create personalizations for selected segments, and prepare data and predictive models to execute the appropriate activations.

Filters are powerful tools that you can use to modify your data (or the structure of your data) during the import process. We provide the following filter plugins for the S3, FTP and SFTP connectors: Retain Columns, Add Columns, Drop Columns, Expand JSON, Digest Filter.

A new 'Replace on new data' mode is now part of the data placement options for all import integrations. In this mode, the destination table is only truncated if there is new data. Otherwise, the existing data is kept. Learn more about Data Placement for import integrations.
Email notifications can be set up in the Schedule tab of the Activation configuration. This enables users to send Activation Success and/or Failure email notifications to desired users in an account. Learn more about activating a segment.
Workflow _parallel option now supports entering the number of tasks to run in parallel by using _prallel: {limit: N} syntax.
The enhancement gives the user the control to manage running parallel tasks and better manage resource utilization. Learn more about parallel task examples.
With Apple having declared the Crypto MD5 hashtag function deprecated upon the release of iOS 13, our new iOS SDK switches to using SHA256 instead. Although Apple did not announce the removal date for MD5 function, clients should plan to adapt to the new version.

In the list of aggregation rules for behavior-based batch segmentation, we have introduced a new “Average” operation. You can create a segment based on an average value.
The project-level permissions feature that allows administrators to manage and assign permissions at the individual workflow project level has been enhanced to allow setting the permissions from TD Console as well as the API.
Administrators can now view the list of user-defined workflow projects from the control panel, select individual projects, and assign permissions of view, edit, or run at the individual project level.

Treasure Data now offers policy-based permissions for Integrations as a general audience release. Account owners and administrators can view and specify permissions for the Integrations Hub through the TD Console in Policies or through the API. These permissions impact all workflow and activation jobs that require access to data connectors. It is available to all customers as a feature add-on. To add this feature, contact your Treasure Data Customer Success representative.
The HTTP endpoints both in Tokyo and US regions are being deprecated for secure access reasons. All customers who are currently accessing a TD HTTP endpoint have been directly notified about the deprecation.

Firebase is a mobile- and web application development platform that helps you deliver richer app experiences. You can send direct notifications to your mobile app and website through Firebase Cloud Messaging.
