Configuring Workflow Permissions

You can set global permissions through TD Console. Project-level permissions can set global workflow permissions and individual project-level permissions from both TD Console and the API.

Workflow projects are visible in TD Console when you have either global permissions or permissions to individual workflow projects. Workflows to which you do not have access will be filtered out.

Define Workflow Permissions from TD Console

  1. Open TD Console.
  2. Navigate to Control Panel > Security >Policies.

  1. Select the policy and then select Permissions.

  1. Select the pencil icon.

  1. Set Data Workbench access permissions.
  2. Select Save.

Configurations for all parent segmentsView - View all parent segment configurations.
Full - View, edit, delete and create master segments.

Do not remove the automatic selection of View All Parent Segment Configurations. This selection is required to perform actions on all parent segments.
Manage own parent segmentsUsers can create new parent segments and run, edit, and delete parent segments they own.
Export Results to DestinationIf selected, the user can export results.
All Workflow ProjectsView - View workflows.
Run - Run user-defined workflows only.
Edit - Edit user-defined workflows only.

View all Permissions of a User from TD Console

  1. Open TD Console.

  2. Navigate to the Control Panel.

  3. Select Users.

  4. Select a specific user.

  5. Select Policies.

  6. Select Show All Permissions.

Defining Workflow Permissions from the API

Project-level workflow permissions can be set through TD Console and the API. If you are interested in workflow project-level permission, contact your account representative.

After the workflow permissions are set, the system might take a maximum of five minutes to enforce the permissions.
