Treasure Data is removing TD Console support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) effective October 30, 2020.
The TD Console supported Microsoft web browser will become all versions of Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft announced sunset schedules indicating that the Microsoft 365 team will no longer support IE 11 by November 30, 2020.
If you are currently using IE 11, we recommend that you switch to Edge or another supported browser by October 30, 2020.
If you use the TD JavaScript SDK in your websites, this change won’t affect the supported browsers.
After October 30, 2020 , you may experience partial loss of functionality within Treasure Data Console if you do not switch to another browser.
Any new Treasure Data Console functionality may not work in Internet Explorer, and no minor bugs or cosmetic issues will be fixed for Internet Explorer even though you can still access TD Console by IE 11.
In 2015, Microsoft released the Edge browser as a replacement for Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer no longer receives updates that add the latest security and functionality that supports complex web apps.
Treasure Data strives to deliver products that meet our customers’ needs. The increasing gap between Internet Explorer 11 and all other browsers has meant that we needed to expend considerable effort to avoid and fix defects that only appear in that browser. It limits our technology choices and dampens our ability to deliver the reliability and functionality that you expect.
If you currently use IE 11 to sign in to the Treasure Data Console, start using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox before October 30, 2020.
If you use the TD JavaScript SDK in your websites, this change won’t affect the supported browsers. The TD JS SDK continue to support IE 11.
