LINE Channel

LINE is a popular messaging platform widely used across Asia, particularly in Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Engage Studio provides integration with LINE through the LINE Messaging API connector, enabling you to engage with your LINE Official Account followers through various capabilities.

Overview

Engage Studio's LINE integration supports the following capabilities:

1. LINE Messaging Delivery (Limited Availability)

Direct message delivery through Engage Studio's native interface is currently available to a limited set of customers. This capability allows you to:

  • Send personalized messages directly from Engage Studio
  • Create and manage messaging campaigns
  • Track delivery and engagement metrics
  • Use Engage Studio's content editor for message creation

2. LINE Rich Menu Switching (Available via Integration Hub)

LINE Rich Menu switching is available to all customers through the LINE Messaging API connector in Integration Hub. This capability enables you to:

  • Switch Rich Menus dynamically based on user segments
  • Personalize navigation menus for different user groups
  • Create targeted user experiences based on behavior or attributes
  • Implement A/B testing with different menu designs

Implementation Approach: Rich Menu switching uses Audience Studio segmentation combined with the LINE Messaging API connector to apply different Rich Menus to specific user segments.

Prerequisites

To use LINE with Engage Studio, you need:

  • LINE Official Account - An active LINE Official Account for your business
  • LINE Developers Console Access - Access to obtain API credentials
  • Channel Access Token - A valid Channel Access Token from your LINE channel
  • Treasure Data Account - Active Audience Studio and Engage Studio access
  • User Data - Customer data with LINE user IDs for targeting

Getting Started

Before you can use any LINE features, you must configure LINE authentication in Integration Hub. The authentication setup involves creating a credential with your LINE Channel Access Token from the LINE Developers Console.
