# Renaming Dashboard Widget Fields

Treasure Insights automatically names widget fields from raw data. You can rename the fields.

1. Open a dashboard or [create a new one](/products/customer-data-platform/treasure-insights/creating-a-new-dashboard).
2. Identify a widget and select the pencil icon to edit it.
3. In the left panel, select the vertical ellipsis.

4. Select **Rename.**
5. Change the name and then select the green checkmark to save it.
