# Building an Elasticube Insights Model

You can build an Insights model immediately after you have created it, or you can build the model later.

The API master key owner of an Insights model must have Download permission in order to successfully build the model. Without this permission, the Insights model build will fail. For more information about download permissions, see [Setting Policy-based Database Permissions in TD Console](/products/control-panel/security/policies/setting-policy-based-database-permissions-in-td-console)

1. Open the TD Console.
2. Navigate to **Control Panel** > **Insights Models**.
3. Open an existing Insights model or [create a new one](/products/customer-data-platform/treasure-insights/creating-an-elasticube-insights-model-in-td-console).
4. Select **Build Insights Model.**

1. You can select how to build your Insights model:


* **Replace All** : Replace the data in all of the tables with the current data from the source.
* **Change Only** : Replace the data in new or modified tables with current data from the source.

1. Select **Build**.
Treasure Insights displays a pop-up in the upper right with the status of your build.

When a data model is built, Treasure Insights services check to see if there are available resources to store the model. If the storage capacity is below a reasonable threshold, the build may fail and a message is displayed indicating insufficient resources.

You can rectify the issue by deleting any unused or old data models to free up space or your account representative can aid in purchasing additional capacity. 2. Review the build status in the list view.

If you don't see a build date, [open the Insights model](/products/customer-data-platform/treasure-insights/viewing-an-elasticube-insights-model-limits-and-storage) and review the status:

* Build Pending
* Building
* Built
* Build Cancelled
* Build Failed
