# Real Time Attributes Overview Treasure Data's real-time attributes allow you to create and store attributes used in real-time interactions, capture customer behaviors and actions, and ultimately create an updated view of the customer. ![](/assets/real-time-attributes-overview-2024-07-24.b2d7c0753ccaf31bd13be16b26cd2cc984e6852d2a8f7eea74f9f4f0ae559c35.cf3845cb.png) These real-time attributes can be used in [real-time triggered activations](/products/customer-data-platform/journey-orchestration/realtime/creating-a-real-time-triggered-activation) to build better logic and decisioning based on customers' actions. ## Real-time Attribute Types Journey Orchestration supports four real-time attribute types: * **[Single-value attribute](/products/customer-data-platform/real-time/creating-single-value-attributes)** : An attribute to store a single value. For example, name, age, address, last purchase amount, etc. * **[List attribute](/products/customer-data-platform/real-time/creating-and-viewing-a-list-attribute)** : An attribute that stores a list of values. * **[Counter attribute](/products/customer-data-platform/real-time/creating-a-counter-attribute)** : An attribute that can keep count of events/actions, including the capability to define sub-counters for smaller time periods. * **[Import Batch](/products/customer-data-platform/real-time/importing-batch-attributes)** : Use the Import Batch option to import batch attributes into your real-time platform. If a real-time value is not updated, single-value and counter attributes can be substituted with batch attributes by configuring batch backfill.
