The following information has been provided to help you understand how Customer Journey Orchestration statistics are displayed in the Journey Canvas.
In this example, we'll look at the journey's first stage and focus on how profile counts and movement are captured in the canvas.
After a journey is launched, you can view the daily counts of profiles within a journey. Journey statistics are calculated based on the parent segment refresh.
- To access the Journey Canvas, select Open journey.

Within a launched journey, you can see the number of profiles in each stage, goal, and step.

The “In Stage” count is the sum of all the profiles in the journey since the last Parent Segment refresh. Any profiles that transitioned from the stage (meeting the exit criteria, milestone of another journey, or a jump step) are excluded.
The total count of profiles that meet the goal is captured via this rule.
The total count of profiles that meet the milestone is captured via this rule.

The total number of profiles that exited the stage is 10511.
786 profiles represent all profiles that are currently in the stage.

There are 397 profiles in the End step. Profiles remain in the end step after they complete the stage unless they qualify for another milestone, a goal, or exit criteria. Over time, the number of profiles will grow unless they exit for one of those three reasons.
There are 243 profiles in the Wait Step today.
There are 489 profiles in the BC branch of the decision point.
Profiles that have left the stage (jump, exit criteria, and goal met) are no longer counted toward the number of profiles in Variant A.
