# Decision Point Progress

In this example, we'll look at the journey's first stage and focus on how decision points affect profile progress.

## Parent Segment Refresh Dependencies

Statistics for each chart are calculated based on the parent segment refresh. Batch journey statistics show a *daily count* of where profiles are in the journey. 1. Select **Open journey**.

The sum of the profile count is 786, the same number as the profiles that entered the Awareness stage. This indicates that the profiles successfully transitioned through the journey stage.
