# Running a Workflow Session You can start a workflow session right from the command line using the `--session now` command to begin a workflow session immediately. 1. Open the terminal. 2. Open your workflow directory. ```bash cd /users//mydirectory ``` 1. List the existing items in your directory to verify the files. ```bash ls -al ``` 1.
