# Finding the Segment ID

Some APIs require the segment ID to complete a workflow. The following lists the ways you can find the segment ID:

1. In the Audience Studio, right-mouse-click a segment and then select **Copy segment ID**.
2. In the Audience Studio, select a segment in the left navigation menu. To the right of Edit segment rules, select the ellipses and then select **Copy segment ID**.

1. Extract the ID from the URL tail in the browser address field.
