Schedule an Activation

Treasure Data provides flexible options for scheduling batch segments, A/B testing, and funnel stages.

Review examples of how to set different activation schedules.

StartDate/TimeYou can select the date and time that the activation should start, or you can use the calendar to choose a date up to six months in the future. 00:00:00 is the start of a new day; 23:59:59 is the end of the day. Alternatively, you can type in the date and time the activation should start.
StartTime zoneTreasure Data defaults to the UTC zone. Select the time zone from the drop-down menu to change it to your local or a different time zone.

You must select weekly to use this scheduling option.

Repeat every hour, day, week, and month. The start date and time defaults to the current date and time. Select one or more days to repeat the schedule.

In the previous example, the date is Thursday, March 21, 2024. The selected days are Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. The activation will run on March 25, March 26, and March 30.

EndNo end dateThe schedule runs indefinitely.
EndDateType the date or use the calendar to select a date to end the activation. You can select an end date up to six months in the future.

Email notifications to:

(Recipients)

(Optional) Select individuals will receive email notifications about the schedule. You can select up to 20 recipients. Begin typing the recipient's name to find the associated email.

The email notification list and settings are copied to the new activation when you copy an activation. When a user in a configured recipients list is removed from an account, you must update the email notification setting. Otherwise, the system continues to send notifications to them.

Email notifications to:FailureSelect to notify the individuals you selected to email notifications of a failed activation. In addition to notifying the parent segment creator of a failed activation via email, Treasure Data automatically sends another email about the failure.
