# Creating an AI Project A project comprises knowledge bases, agents, and Integrations. There are two types of projects: * **Managed** : A dedicated project for the Audience Studio domain that the AI Framework creates. Typically, the CDP API creates the project when[the LLM feature is enabled](/products/customer-data-platform/data-workbench/parent-segments/creating-parent-segments#optional-general-llm-access) at the particular parent segment configuration, including a knowledge base, agents, etc. For example, [Audience Agent](/products/customer-data-platform/audience-studio/audience-agent/audience-agent-overview) is a managed project. * **Self-defined** : A project that you create from scratch for specific business needs. This topic includes: * [Create a Managed project for the Audience Agents](#create-a-managed-project-for-the-audience-agents) * [Create a Self-Defined Project](#create-a-self-defined-project) ## Create a Managed project for the Audience Agents A managed project for Audience Agents is automatically created by turning it on the Parent Segment Config. Follow the instruction on [enable the parent segment to support AI projects](/products/customer-data-platform/data-workbench/parent-segments/creating-parent-segments). Treasure Data will delete all projects and project assets if you disable support for AI Agents at the parent segment level. ## Create a Self-Defined Project Follow these steps to create a self-defined project. 1. Open TD Console. 2. Navigate to **AI Agent Foundry**. 3.
