Managing the Sign in Mode of an SSO User

As an account owner or administrator, you can change the sign-in of a user. You can change:

  • from email and password sign-in method to a specific IdP

  • from a specific IdP to email and password

Complete the following steps:

Viewing a User Sign-In Method

Access a user.

  1. From TD Console, navigate to Control Panel.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Select a user.

  4. Edit the edit pencil**.**

Adding a User to SSO

You can add users to the IdP sign-in method so that the users can one user account ID to log into multiple Treasure Data accounts.

Treasure Data users in your account are enabled for SSO on an individual basis. You cannot enable multiple users through a batch process or multi-select because a unique identifier is required for each user.

Steps to enable a user to use SSO are as follows:

  1. Select a user.

  2. Change the Sign-in Method to your IdP.

  1. Provide an identifier, specific to your organization, to identify each user as unique.

Custom is an identity value, specific to the user, specified in the IdP, such as a user ID.

Please make sure that Unique Identifier: matches the login ID that you use with your IdP.
For example, if you use test@example.com to log in to your IdP, you have to choose it as an identifier.If the identifier is different from your Treasure Data user's email address, please choose "Custom" and put the value you use with Idp.

Removing a User from SSO Access

Steps to remove a user from SSO are as follows:

  1. Select a user.

  2. Change the Sign In Method to Email & Password.
