# Specifying Maximum Login Attempts and Session Timeout Administrators can specify the maximum times that users can attempt to login and specify the length of time a logged-in user can stay logged in without their session timing out. ## Configuration The default value is 1 week. For example, if 1 week is specified, a user's session will last 1 week before their session will time-out and require them to re-login. Only administrators can set the maximum session for users. 1. Open TD Console. 2. You may be asked to re-enter your password and validate your login . 4.
