Specifying Maximum Login Attempts and Session Timeout

Administrators can specify the maximum times that users can attempt to login and specify the length of time a logged-in user can stay logged in without their session timing out.

Configuration

The default value is 1 week. For example, if 1 week is specified, a user's session will last 1 week before their session will time-out and require them to re-login. Only administrators can set the maximum session for users.

  1. Open TD Console.

  2. Navigate to Control Panel > Security > Sign-In Settings.

  3. You may be asked to re-enter your password and validate your login .

  4. Select the edit pen for Login Configuration.

  1. Select a value for User session timeout.

  2. Optionally, you may customize the User session timeout and select a value for Set a timeout.

  1. Save your selections.
