You can use sign-in settings to control user access methods to the TD Console.
- Open the TD Console.
- Select the gear icon at the bottom of the navigation bar.
- Select Sign-in settings.
- Validate your access by typing in your password.

- You can administer the following security configurations:
- Select the edit pen in Password Configuration.

- Define your password policies using the information in the following table. Select Save when you are done.
- Minimum length: Passwords can be anywhere from 8 to 128 characters.
- Complexity: Define what sort of character requirements are necessary for a password.
- No restrictions
- Letters, numbers
- Letters, numbers, special characters
- Upper case, lower case
- Upper case, lower case, letters, numbers, special characters
- Password expiration: Set a time limit for the validity of a password before you are asked to change it. For example, never, every 30 days, 1 year.
- History kept: Define how long to keep past password information. For example, never to 24 months.
Define your sign-in policies using the information in the following table. Select Save when you are done.
- Maximum invalid attempts: Define the number of attempts a user can make at guessing their password. For example, 1 - 10.
- User session timeout: Define the amount of time that a user can be active in the system after their first login. For example, 12 - 672 hours.
