# Policy Based Data Workbench Permissions

You can specify users' access to workflows, parent segments and exporting results using the TD Console. Global permissions for workflow can be set here, but project-level permissions must be set through the API. Parent segment permission is only for accounts that include Audience Studio.

For the Data Workbench, you can specify permissions for parent segment configurations, exporting results, and global workflow permissions.

The following table lists the actions enabled by each permission.

| Full control | Create, edit, run, view, and delete all parent segmentsIf you plan to create Parent Segments, select View in Workflow so that you can view the workflow process of creating a Parent Segment. |

| **Manage Own Parent Segments** |  |
| Full | Users with Manage Own permission can create new Parent Segment configurations, edit, and delete Parent Segment configurations they own. |

| View | View the list of workflows |
| Run | Run all user-defined workflows. |
| Edit | Create and edit all user-defined workflows |
