# Policy Based Data Workbench Permissions You can specify users' access to workflows, parent segments and exporting results using the TD Console. Global permissions for workflow can be set here, but project-level permissions must be set through the API. Parent segment permission is only for accounts that include Audience Studio. For details on how permissions affect user actions in TD Work, refer to [the matrix.](/products/control-panel/security/policies/workflow-permissions-matrix) The matrix lists actions that are controlled by permissions. For the Data Workbench, you can specify permissions for parent segment configurations, exporting results, and global workflow permissions. ![](/assets/image2023-9-22_13-41-56.02e7fd72af75f89fda68bb00d996614dd5cb38a598897d0cb2ba36bedcd59a95.9f549006.png) The following table lists the actions enabled by each permission. | Permission | Allows | | --- | --- | | **Configurations for All Parent Segments** | | | Full control | Create, edit, run, view, and delete all parent segmentsIf you plan to create Parent Segments, select View in Workflow so that you can view the workflow process of creating a Parent Segment. | | View | View all parent segments.
