# Policy Based Activation Template Permissions Activation template permissions define what a user can do with the Activation Template. Activation template access is only applied to the parent segment and folder you select. These permissions are set in the TD Console. 1. Login to the TD Console. 2. Select an existing policy or create a new one. 4. Open the policy and then select **Permissions**. Individuals creating or using templates must have Integrations Hub and Activations/Activation Templates permissions. 1. In the **Integrations Hub** section, select **View** or **Full**.
