IP allowlists restrict access to Treasure Data accounts through specified sets of IP addresses. There are two types of allowlists:
default account IP allowlist
user IP allowlist
You manage your account IP allowlists through TD Console. You can add or delete IP addresses.
The default account IP allowlist affects all users in an account.
The user IP allowlist contains IP addresses that a specific user can use to access services. User IP allowlist are viewable from a user’s profile page. Restricted users cannot modify their own IP allowlist.
When set, users can access TD services by using any IP address specified in the default account IP allowlist. However, if users have a defined user IP allowlist, they no longer use the default account IP allowlist. When set, the user IP allowlist replaces the default account IP allowlist for that user.
