# Define IP Allowlist

IP allowlists restrict access to Treasure Data accounts through specified sets of IP addresses. There are two types of allowlists:

* **Default account IP allowlist** : Affects all users in an account.
* **User IP allowlist** : Contains IP addresses that a specific user can use to access services.


Manage your account IP allowlists in TD Console. You can add or delete IP addresses.

1. Open **TD Console**.
2. Navigate to **Control Panel > IP Allowlist**.
3. Type your credentials for verification, if asked.
4. Select **Edit IP Allowlist**.
5. Specify the exact IP address you want to allow.

1. Select **Add**.
2. (Optional) Depending on your permission access, you might need to also to validate your identity with a password.

1. Select **Close** when you are finished editing the IP allowlist.
