# Renaming of Data Tank 2.0

Data Tank 2.0 will be renamed to "Data Tank".

# Background

Previously, Treasure Data offered two versions of this service:

- Data Tank
- Data Tank 2.0


With the deprecation of the Data Tank in 2025, only Data Tank 2.0 is currently being provided. To eliminate potential confusion between the two versions, we are implementing the following updates in stages:

- Retirement of all documentation pages related to the Data Tank
- Renaming Data Tank 2.0 to Data Tank
- The Data Tank component will be removed from the [Status Page](/support/service-status-dashboard) subscription options
- The Data Tank 2.0 component will be renamed to Data Tank on the [Status Page](/support/service-status-dashboard) subscription options
